RFQ NAME: Supply and Installation Burglar Alarm System at MIB Thinadhoo Branch

Interested parties are requested to submit quotations as per the scope of work described below.
The Bank wishes to procure the services of a reputable vendor for the supply and installation of Burglar Alarm System at the Bank’s Thinadhoo Branch at, Aabaadhee Hingun, G.Dh. 17100, Thinadhoo, Maldives.
The scope of the project includes the following:
1. Supply of all required equipment, software and materials.
2. Installation and testing of the alarm system.
3. Commissioning of alarm system at the Maldives Islamic Bank Thinadhoo Branch at, Aabaadhee Hingun, G.Dh. 17100, Thinadhoo, Maldives.
Fully programmable zone control panel with option to report events to a monitoring station.
Option to send events to mobile phones.
Separate zone programmable for 24/7 arming.
Zones programmable for delay, immediate, panic or fire independently
Should support arming and disarming facility with keypad and LCD display.
Automatic arming and disarming facility.
Log of alarm, arm and disarm and other events.
Programmable entry and exit delay time.
Supports multiple users.

Built in LCD display to indicate arming status and events.
Keypad for interacting with the control panel.

Dual technology passive infrared and microwave detection
Pet immunity feature
Detection range adequate for the premises

Door sensors should be magnetic
Panic switch should be resettable without key
Hooters should be loud and weatherproof
All floor areas to be covered with motion sensors
All door and window entry points to be secured with door magnetic sensors
Glass panels to be secured with glass break detectors
Strong room to be secured with motion sensors when armed.
Independently arm and disarm zones assigned to areas of office.
All events including alarm triggers, arm and disarm events should be logged.
Panic Button should have GSM SMS function which will provide alerts to security personnel.
Users should be assigned independent security credentials
System should operate on backup battery for minimum 24 hours in case of power failure.
Option to download system log when required.
Upgradable to report events to a monitoring station via mobile network and landline.

Quotations submitted in response to this RFQ should contain the following information.
Brand, model, part number and specifications of the quoted items that comply with the specifications described in this RFQ.
Price of the quoted items in Maldivian Rufiyaa (MVR), inclusive of Customs duty, clearance, delivery to the Bank’s premises and installation
Prices should be given per item and in total
Quantity of items quoted.
Delivery period in days
Quotations submitted in response to this RFQ may be submitted in in sealed packages (with the name of the proposer, RFQ number, RFQ name and the word “CONFIDENTIAL” clearly labelled on the outside of the package) or via email to email@example.com. Quotations must be submitted on or before 4:00 PM on Thursday, 12th October 2019.

All quotations will be evaluated based on the following criteria.
Price will be evaluated based on the lowest price proposed, i.e., the quotation with the lowest price (for both one-time and recurring costs) will score the highest and maximum score of 60% while the remaining will be given scores relative to the lowest price.
Delivery period (25%)
Delivery period will be evaluated based on the lowest delivery and installation period proposed, i.e., the quotation with the lowest delivery and installation period will score the highest and maximum score of 25% while the remaining will be given scores relative to the lowest price. The Bank expects the delivery period to be less than 30 days.
Experience will be evaluated based on the stability of the business and completion of similar projects in the past. The following supporting documents must be submitted with the quotation.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. All quotations must be submitted before the submission deadline specified in this RFQ. Quotations submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.
2. The proposer shall only supply genuine software and hardware. The Bank will not accept any used or after-market items.
3. Quotations submitted in response to this RFQ should be valid for a minimum period of 60 (sixty) days from the date of submission.
4. The items should be delivered to the Bank within 30 days from the confirmation of the order.
5. During the warranty period, the proposer should provide replacements and support services.
6. The Bank may add or remove items before placing the order.
